The sign on the door is actually wrong. If you keep going straight then go through two sets of doors then make a left turn. You will in fact find another mens restroom without heading to the first floor. Either way this is proof that the women of Blogher have decended upon the Navy Pier in Chicago. Now the icon by the handicap sign does say it is a womens restroom. But the large sign above says it is a mens facility. So I think the restroom already had a confused identity.
