I’m sure this can’t be the case. I’d tend to believe something caused a glitch when they went live with registration. But at this time all dates for Gnomedex 8.0 are listed as sold out. If this is in fact true then I think this is the fastest I’ve ever seen this conference sell tickets. I don’t see any confirmation anywhere else. And currently the main Gnomedex site is back to showing the 2007 attendees not 2008 like it had been the past few days. So I think the sold out status might be do to website updates.
Just purchased my Gnomedex 8.0 ticket
Gnomedex 2008 registration is live
Update from Chris Pirillo – Twitter – Chr15 P1r1LL0 Gnomedex didn’t sell out that fast, folks. EventBrite is having issues
Let the general registration process begin for Gnomedex 8.0
Posted 2008’s mission statements
Robert Scoble asked I’m wondering if Chris Pirillo got the Gnomedex feedback I sent him
I’d say Chris must have do to the mission statement on the Gnomedex website. Can’t say I fully agree with everything that was stated within the Gnomedex Digest back channel.
Still into taking a risk?

It’s technology just not the same boring crap we hear about day in and day out. Not another social network or product / service to add more clutter to our daily lives.
Update 3:05 Am Central Time
Wow controversy for a simple post. -smiles- I just asked – again – smiles. And for the record I think I was perfectly clear that this wasn’t being confirmed by those it would normally be confirmed by. Along with the fact that I stated this was most likely a glitch of some sort. But then again you never know. Maybe some ultra rock star got booked and everyone went nuts in one day. Figured I’d ask. The “problem” has been resolved for several hours now either way.
Bottom line is: Gnomedex is sold out when *I* say it’s sold out.
Twitter – Gnomedex Conference Scoble tried to buy all the tickets but failed
