I didn’t come across this earlier today. But when I just logged into my WordPress Administration page I got an alert that WordPress 2.7.1 is available. According to the website this is the first 2.7 maintenance release. I’m sure there are many fixes included so it would be a good idea to take the time to install this latest version of WordPress. You can either click the alert and allow the release to automatically install. Or you can follow my lead by downloading the 2.7.1 build and then do a manual install.
