I renewed my Kaspersky Internet Security for another year last night. Since ZoneAlarm doesn’t have a version working for Windows 7 I had to stick with KIS 2009 from Kaspersky. This is what I have been using for several years now since Zone Labs took way to long to come out with a Vista compatible build. Then took even longer to produce a Vista 64 bit version. I can no longer get a commission for my renewal. Kaspersky has improved license renewal to make it easier. But in doing so has taken away the chance for yearly renewal sales to add to my income. A few months back I had a client up for renewal but couldn’t make any money off that sale. Do to the new update process.
I’m not sure if the one PC license will still work for two machines. So instead of taking a chance I went with the 3 PC license. Even though we don’t have a third machine. It was cheaper than buying two separate renewals. Our laptop should need an updated license. I’ve not used it this week. So I’m not sure if the renewal alert has started on that machine.
