Infomercial pitchman Kevin Trudeau asked his supporters to basically create a DOS attack ( Denial-of-service attack ) upon U.S. District Judge Robert Gettleman’s email address. It would seem that many Trudeau believers did exactly that. The judge didn’t take the barrage of emails kindly. Kevin Trudeau claims he was just exercising his First Amendment rights. However the massive amount of email ended up crashing the judges account. Many would consider this an email DOS attack. Originally Trudeau was sentenced to jail time for this action. That decision has since been reversed.
