On our way home from Robinsonville Mississippi ( better known as Tunica Resorts ) we stopped at a Chick-fil-A in Southaven. Years ago inside White Oaks Mall in Springfield Illinois we had a Chick-fil-A. Ever since it closed the citizens in this area have been up in arms to bring it back. There have been rumors but Chick-fil-A hasn’t come back to our community. Honestly the meal we just had in Mississippi didn’t bring back any old memories of how great Chick-fil-A used to be. I wouldn’t rave that it’s so much better than some of the competition. What I can say is I ate their often when I was younger and hanging out at White Oaks Mall. If we had a Chick-fil-A in operation here again I’d eat there. It would be nice to have a chain restaurant slightly different from what we have now.
“However, a call to Jerry Johnston, senior public relations manager for the Atlanta-based chicken-sandwich chain, didn’t strike golden lemon pie.
He said the company will open restaurants in October and November in the Chicago suburbs of Orland Park and Wheaton.”
