Chris Pirillo just surprised me by asking me a question. He asked me to compare the wireless access of Gnomedex versus Blogher. I had to be honest. At this point the Gnomedex 2007 wireless network is feeling the pain. Blogher somehow worked out the kinks in the network they were using in Chicago. Boingo doesn't have a network anywhere close to here. They are no longer the wireless provider for The Edgewater Hotel. So I of course can't get any access from there. The hotel network isn't strong enough to reach the Bell Harbor Conference Center. Some websites are now coming up quickly. So the new tweaks to the Bell Harbor network may on fact be working. It could be that by the end of the day the popular used sites will be cached and the overall experience will improve. Chris just stated they are in fact working on it. Everyone just went for a break and the network went flying.
