The other day when driving past Dairy Queen on Wabash Ave in Springfield IL – we came across a union protest. I’m not sure what the dispute was about. I’ve not been able to find anything online related to the event. Nothing on our local newspaper’s website. Over the years Union protest have been common on Wabash Ave. Several companies operate non union workplaces along this street.
We didn’t have time for me to stop and find out was going on. The video was taken as we drove by. The banner says Shame on Dairy Queen. There was a person with a video camera just down from the protestors. I assumed this was another union member recording the event.
