This video shows my new Simple Gumshoes. I hadn’t purchased a new pair of shoes in awhile. It was time to purchase a pair or two. The second pair I purchased has yet to show up at our door. A few days ago the Simple Gumshoe’s were delivered. Honestly these shoes even with a shoe horn ( a plastic one was provided ) were really hard to get on. Definitely not a shoe that does well with a mildly thick sock. Once you get them on they are comfortable. With any new shoe you’ll need to wear them in a bit. I’ll only be able to give a true review of comfort after a month or so of use.
Unfortunately my Simple black ecoSNEAKS a year after their one year anniversary – ran into bad weather and mud at a Cheap Trick Blondie concert during the 2010 Illinois State Fair. When we got home I made the really dumb mistake of washing then drying these shoes. Common sense says this isn’t exactly smart with a shoe put together with water based glues. We’ve had to repair them a few times now to keep them up & running.
