I’m more than aware of the long time argument that Apple hardware is more secure. I’d also venture to say that Mac owners will find faults with any data that states their machines aren’t more secure than a Microsoft product. However this seems to be exactly what one writer recently determined. Whether you agree with the analysis or not. The fact remains your not going to get away from having to apply patches. Security updates will be just as present with an Apple product as they would be if your are using a Microsoft product. History has more than shown that Apple is not immune to security related issues.
