This video shows the progress of this late February snow storm. You can see our tall grass is now almost fully covered. Accumulation is increasing – it’s been about an hour since I last looked outside. Snow is starting to blow – it’s now rush hour in our region – so any blowing snow will make driving conditions much worse. The number of vehicle accidents has steadily increased – along with calls for assistance for vehicles that have gone off the road.

This will finally give us a reason to use our electric snow blower we purchased last year. We used it once when we bought it – but haven’t had much use for it this winter. The snow blower was purchased after our one and only major snow storm last season.

I didn’t realize until after I recorded the video – that I had my low light setting on. That is why the video is a bit darker than it should be.
