This was recorded from an observation area located in the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial St Louis. The set of stairs you can barely make out lead down to Gateway Helicopter Tours and other tourist attractions.
All along the Mississippi River view from Historic Laclede’s Landing you could see logs floating in large bunches. I saw what looked like green plastic garbage cans several times.
For months the river was so dry that barge traffic was almost completely shutdown. Now the river is flooding – barges are breaking free and debris is floating downstream.
