Before we left Normal Illinios today I thought I would check the Tesla Superchargers one more time. I hadn’t had any luck yesterday. We were actually driving an electric car most of the afternoon yesterday – Chevy Spark EV.
Just like last time when we were in Normal getting ready to leave on Amtrak – I got lucky. This is the first time I have score 2 Tesla Model S Supercharging at the same time.
I was hoping that the owners in the white car wouldn’t flip out when I started recording. They were enjoying a nice meal. They were cool about things. I showed them my keychain and as I walked by thanked them for their purchase.
As I got on the elevator a family was exiting. Something made me think to ask the man if he was the owner of the Tesla. Turns out he was – I also thanked him for his purchase. Interesting thing is – when we drove back up in our car to see if they were still there – Only the white Model S was still hooked up. It would seem I had really awesome timing today.
The white Tesla Model S had the license plate 1309 EL So I can now add that to my collection. No front plate on the green Model S – I didn’t check the back.
So far I have recorded 226 EL, 228 EL, 229 EL, 236 EL, 332 EL, 382 EL, 383 EL, 518 EL, 531 EL, 547 EL, 585 EL , 668 EL, 1216 EL and now 1309 EL.
Disclaimer – I am a very minor Tesla Motors stock owner. Unfortunately I didn’t have near the amount of money I wanted to invest in this company. But I do own a few shares.
