On our way to find a parking spot the other day – I came across this Shelby Cobra Ford 427. It was parked inside the Prairie Capital Convention Center parking garage. I’d assume this is a continuation car or replica.
During the 2012 International Route 66 Mother Road Festival in Springfield Illinois – I recorded an original Hertz Shelby GT Cobra 350-H Ford Mustang.
Rumor has it – Barry Weiss of Storage Wars fame was in town for the Springfield Mile. I saw pictures that seemed to confirm this. But I did not get to meet him in person. Didn’t really see any interesting cars downtown that Saturday night. I figured if he was in town he would be driving something unusual. What I recorded above was the most interesting car I came across that evening.
