I’m not sure if this was an Amtrak Hoosier State passenger or a rail trespasser in Dyer Indiana. Hoosier State had just stopped at Dyer station. I would think conductor would have opened door on side of platform – not door that would have passenger de-boarding onto track area. This could have been a local crossing tracks as train left station.
