For a daily fee of $20 you can access The Legacy Club inside Chicago Union Station. Open several months ago this lounge provides Amtrak and Metra passengers Priority Boarding, free Wi-Fi, charging stations, comfortable seating and complimentary snacks.
The Legacy Club was formerly known as Union Gallery. This room was used for special events and an Amtrak Business Class Lounge during busy holiday seasons.
An annual fee membership is being planned. At this time Amtrak Rewards Select Plus and Executive members are not given free access to Legacy Club. Amtrak Metropolitan Lounge access is still included for those rewards levels.
If you are in Chicago Union Station Great Hall facing Amtrak check-in booth – The Legacy Club is to far left in corner. Great Hall is large room with rows of wooden benches.
