This was my first time inside City Museum St Louis. I’d passed it in cabs or cars over years – but had never ventured in to enjoy it’s wonders. Night video segments were recorded – I was attending 2015 WordCamp St. Louis after party.
I really should have had low light setting enabled. Video is combination of recordings. It was hard to avoid recording visitors – so I had a lot of short segments.
City Museum is a play house museum, consisting largely of repurposed architectural and industrial objects, housed in the former International Shoe building in the Washington Avenue Loft District of St. Louis, Missouri, United States.
City Museum St Louis opened for visitors in 1997. Housed in the 600,000 square-foot former International Shoe Company, the museum is an eclectic mixture of children’s playground, funhouse, surrealistic pavilion, and architectural marvel made out of unique, found objects.

Cementland is a public art exhibit under construction on the 54-acre site of a former cement factory just north of St. Louis, Missouri.
