Recordings didn’t combine in order I placed them. So timeline of video takes trip backwards. Majority shows Acela at Union Station Washington DC. Locomotive 2017 was what brought me from New York Penn Station on Acela Express 2165 back to Washington DC. Earlier that morning ( September 7th ) I rode Acela 2160 to New York. I had 2 12 hour upgrade coupons – got lucky – open seats available for both. So I rode First Class round trip.
When you see engine 2017 – that was me coming back into DC that night. Recording ends with a long shot of Acela after it dropped me off at Penn Station New York earlier on 7th.
Beginning was recorded on September 8th at Union Station DC as I was getting ready to board Capitol Limited back to Chicago. I had a Family Bedroom all to myself for that ride.
Recorded September 7th and 8th 2016.
