I recorded this building from grass area in front of Washington Monument. At the time I thought is most likely Asian related. Honestly I hadn’t done a lot of planning / research before my DC trip. I only had a few hours to explore Washington D.C. after arriving on Amtrak Capitol Limited.
The extent of my trip planning had been to get Metro station location nearest most tourist attractions. And to figure out how to get there from my hotel. Then just wing it.
I’ve never had much luck with map apps / software on phones. So I didn’t bother looking this building up. It wasn’t until I got back home that I figured out what I had recorded.
