I didn’t do that great at recording instructions on how to use Capital Bikeshare in Washington DC. Honestly I was so tired and worn out that day I didn’t take time to rent a bike to hotel. After getting sidetracked – I made it back to DC Metro station.
I’ve visited several cities that have successful bike share programs. I have yet to rent a bike in any of them. Normal just take rail transportation, walk, taxicab, Lyft or Uber. Not that it wouldn’t do me good to take a bike ride.
Some cities require riders to use helmets. This could potentially reduce number of tourist using service.
