This was recorded from current Raleigh North Carolina Amtrak station on April 26th and 27th 2017. I can’t remember if first part was taken as I waited for Piedmont train 73 from Raleigh to Durham, NC on 26th. I’m thinking second part was coming back to Raleigh on Carolinian Train 80 on April 26th – very running late train. Last part was waiting to leave Raleigh heading back to Washington DC on April 27th.
From my reading – when new Union Station is completed – there will two stations in Raleigh with that name. The new one will be an Intermodal Transportation Center. Meaning buses, trains and other forms of transport will be located in one terminal.
