Once again Charter Club and St James Place tried to sneak through my area without me noticing. It was dumb luck that I saw them last night. I hadn’t been given a heads-up that they would be traveling through Springfield Illinois.
These private rail cars were on back of Amtrak 307 heading southbound.
I had been told that a special train transporting Talgo cars up to Chicago would pass through Springfield. I waited until 11:15PM Central Time – trainspotted for over 6 hours – never saw them. If I hadn’t been out trying to record those rail cars. I would have missed Charter Club and St James Place.
Not sure who man on porch is. But he did return my wave as train left Springfield IL Amtrak station.
My last encounter with Charter Club and St James Place was November 18 2017 in Normal Illinois.
