Although the roads outside my home are less than in great shape. UPS was able to get the job done right and delivered my Thermaltake ProWater 850i Liquid Cooling System today. The items above were purchased a few days ago from Xoxide. This was my first time buying product from this company. I’d say so far I’m more than happy with the experience. Shipping was a couple of days longer than what I would have gotten from TigerDirect. But that is mostly do to the fact that I’m closer to TigerDirect’s Chicago warehouse.
Along with the Thermaltake ProWater 850i Liquid Cooling System I purchased a bottle of PrimoChill PC ICE Non-Conductive Water Cooling Fluid. After reading some reviews I felt this was the fluid I would want running inside of my new liquid cooled system. Now that I see what cooling liquid Thermaltake provides with their system I more than glad I chose to go with the PrimoChill.
I’ve been dreading actually breaking this machine down and doing this rebuild. The liquid cooling kit makes setup look simple enough. But I’ve learned over the years what looks simple can be deceiving. Or at least seems to give me the most trouble. I wish I would have had the whole liquid setup ready to go earlier today. The PrimoChill PC ICE was cold as ice when it was delivered by UPS. My CPU temperatures would have been very low with that fluid running through the system.
