Amtrak Empire Builder duct tape in use

For years I’ve read online stories about legendary uses of duct tape by Amtrak. Many long time passengers scare new riders into thinking they should always have a roll handy when traveling.

Over the years I have only witnessed duct tape in use on Amtrak trains a couple of times. I recorded this while riding inside an Empire Builder sleeper car. Previously seen it used on stairways and other cabinets.
