I have never experienced this issue with SolydK Linux before now. I’m not sure if it is related to a recent update or storage hard drive getting full. I can watch videos in VLC or SMPlayer with no problem. But later on when I load a video I will get audio only in both media players. When I control-alt-backspace relogin into account – problem goes away.
With a quick look around search engine I could see no topic that addressed my exact problem.
I started using SolydK around time Linux Mint had their security problems. My Linux Mint install got badly mangled. After days of reading and trying all kinds of solutions. I ended up in loop of rage and pissed off angry despair. That is when I started looking for a new Linux flavor. After exploring many – I chose SolydK.
So I have been a happy SolydK user for over 4 years now.
