Since we’ve been having a hard time locating TerraCycle liquid worm poop lawn fertilizer locally. It has been an adventure trying to find a new supply. TerraCycle has now setup a website for purchasing their expanding line of products. The only problem is it’s a disaster in many ways. You can find the product selection easily enough and get it placed in your cart for checkout. But that is where the problem starts. Both times I have visited the shopONLYgreen website checkout was http NOT https. I hadn’t seen an ecommerce website setup this way since around 1999. A company of TerraCycles caliber shouldn’t be making such mistakes. TerraCycle became aware of my aggravation and said they would look into things. I figured they’d resolve the problem fairly fast. I was wrong.
On my second visit to the shopONLYgreen website nothing had changed. Or so it seemed. Because something had drastically changed. I was now being charged the same amount for shipping as my total purchase price. Needless to say I haven’t been back to the TerraCycle shopping site. This means I’ve been looking for a resupply of their liquid worm poop lawn fertilizer. On our way home from Chicago after BlogHer we stopped in Joliet, IL to grab a quick bite to eat. There was a Home Depot and Cheryl joked that we should venture inside to see if they had TerraCycle in stock. As luck would have it they did have a small variety of product. The Home Depot in Joliet had a couple of two packs of the lawn fertilizer we had been needing. With this recent purchase we should be stocked up for the rest of the season.
