Segway Navy Pier Chicago

Segway Navy Pier Chicago

I took this photo on Sunday after BlogHer 2009. It’s one of the first things you will see on the left as you are walking into the Navy Pier in Chicago. Years ago at Gnomedex Segway rides were offered if you took the time to hunt down the person who owned one. I decided it wasn’t worth the hassle. Although I have always wanted to take a Segway for a spin. If I remember correctly Cheryl told me that the Segway Experience Chicago website stated tours where $80. Not sure about the length of each tour. As the picture shows the booth was closed when we passed by. I would have definitely spent the money to have my first Segway ride. Looking on their website right now it looks as if there are several 2 hour tour options. These all seem to cost $75 from a quick glance.
